FAQ
-
What is the RSVP date?
Please RSVP by 1st April at the latest.
The sooner you can RSVP, the more helpful it is for us.
-
What is the Dress Code?
The dress code for the Wedding Day will be ‘Cocktail’. Other parts of the weekend will be a laid back vibe, so neat casual is totally fine.
For the non-aussies, just a reminder that it will be summer in Australia…
-
Where should I stay?
We would love as many of our guests as possible to stay with us at Tiona Holiday Park. However, there are a very limited number of cabins so we encourage you to book ASAP.
For those who miss out on Tiona accom, wish to stay elsewhere or prefer to stay in an airbnb/apartment, refer to the travel section of the site and feel free to contact us as we’re happy to help.
-
Can I camp at Tiona Holiday Park?
Yes! Beyond the cabins and glamping tents at Tiona Holiday Park, there are also a number of powered camp sites available for those keen on camping.
-
Is the reception walking distance from the ceremony?
Yes! The ceremony, reception venue and Tiona Holiday Park are all within walking distance. For this reason, we encourage our guests to stay at Tiona Holiday Park.
-
Can I bring my kids?
Given this is a destination wedding, we completely understand that some of you may need to travel with your little ones.
Whilst kids are very welcome at our Welcome Drinks and our Recovery Brunch, we request that our ceremony and reception be adults only.
Where needed, we are happy to help with finding local and recommended babysitting options for the Wedding Day.
-
Do I need to come to the full weekend?
We understand that for some of our guests, joining us for the full weekend of celebrations may not be an option, which we completely understand. Within the RSVP form you can select which parts of the weekend you are able to attend.
-
Can I bring a plus 1?
Unless it was made clear to you upon receiving your invitation, unfortunately due to number restrictions, we aren’t able to accommodate extra guests.
-
Will there be more information on the Welcome Drinks & Recovery Brunch?
Yes! We will update the website with more details as we get closer, however the intention is that both of these events will be a casual, laid back vibe giving us the opportunity to spend more time with everyone. We plan for these to also be quite close to the wedding venue in Forster/Tiona.
-
Is there public transport?
We are excited to celebrate our wedding in this beautiful lake-side and sea-side venue. Much of the beauty comes from its remote location, and unfortunately this means that there are no public transport options available to access the venue, therefore you will need a car.
We’re happy to help link people up for car sharing.
-
Can I reach out if I have more questions?
Of course! We appreciate that there is a lot of organisation that comes with our wedding, so please reach out to either of us directly with any questions or help needed with travel, accom, or anything else :)
